The careful use of resources is close to our hearts. Therefore, we pay attention to environmental compatibility and saving opportunities in energy, water, waste, purchasing, furnishings and surroundings.

The added value should remain in the region as much as possible and strengthen it. In this way, we create jobs, support customs, reduce transport distances and inspire enthusiasm for regional specialities and features.

Guests and staff should feel comfortable. We make sure that the general conditions are right for everyone: Consideration of guests' wishes, fair and supportive working conditions for employees, inclusion of suppliers, harmony with the population, accessibility.

Sustainability must be consciously anchored in the management. Internal structures and processes are adapted accordingly: Staff management, internal organisation, controlling, guest orientation, innovation.

Only an economically sound business can operate sustainably and secure jobs. Therefore, we pay close attention to earnings, performance, cost control, investments, risk management and guest and employee satisfaction.

The bathing lake in the heart of Pradas Resort is managed and maintained by Pradas Resort on behalf of the municipality. The water is preheated by the solar heat on the roof of the bathing lake kiosk. We do not use any chemicals in the naturally designed bathing lake, the good water quality is ensured by filters and fresh water supply.

Families with small children in particular appreciate the fact that many activities around the Pradas Resort can be enjoyed without a car. You don't need a car to enjoy the numerous sports and leisure activities in Brigels.

The skiing fun starts right at the front door. You don't have to get into a car here, nor do you have to take a bus. The mountain railways are less than 160 metres away.

E-bikes can be rented in the sports shop right next to the resort.

We have an electric car park at the resort and e-charging stations are available in the village itself.

It is easy to get here by train and post bus. The post bus stop Plaun Rueun is right in front of the reception. If you book in advance, the Postbus will pick you up directly at the Pradas Resort as a check-out service.

The Pradas Resort is connected to the Recal wood-fired power plant, in which the municipality also participates. Wood and water are the natural resources of the region.

The anchoring in the village and the region is one of the most important success factors. On the one hand, this is reflected in the integration of local businesses and services from the village (bread delivery service, massage services in the Pradas) and on the other hand in the employees, who have all joined the Pradas Resort from the village and the region. By the way, the employees in direct contact with customers also speak Rhaeto-Romanic, the fourth Swiss national language.

We do not have a restaurant at the resort. However, we do offer a breakfast and bread roll service. Our guests can compile and order their individual breakfast order (large selection of breads, rolls, croissants, jam, butter, cheese, Bündnersalsiz, eggs, Birchermüsli, ...) online every day. These are delivered fresh from the village bakery directly to the residence the next morning.

There is also a small farm shop at the reception. Here we offer honey from the local beekeeper and retired technician at the Pradas Resort Alois Cavegn, nut tarts, pear bread and syrup from a local farmer and homemade jams.

Brigelser restaurants are within easy walking distance. Whether capuns or maluns, Swiss specialities, pizza and other international classics - the local hosts are happy to spoil young and old with culinary delights.

In the village there is also a grocery shop (Volg), a butcher's shop, a cheese dairy and various farm shops where self-caterers can stock up on delicious local specialities for the shared cooking experience in the flat (each flat has a kitchen).

Do you only need your winter sports equipment during the winter holidays? Then it might be worth renting the equipment.

The opening of the 5 new residential buildings in the second half of 2024 will bring another innovation: a photovoltaic system has been installed in the roofs of the new houses where appropriate. We therefore produce part of the electricity we need ourselves.

All Pradas Resort houses were planned and realised as Minergie buildings. Minergie is a quality label and only buildings that actually meet the requirements are certified. Minergie combines high living comfort with minimal energy consumption. This is made possible by a high-quality building envelope and a specific air renewal system.

The Pradas Resort relies on the regional laundry in Ilanz for its laundry cleaning: short delivery routes, professional cleaning and with the ISO 14001 environmental label. The laundry reduces its CO2 emissions and energy consumption with individual measures and projects within the framework of the efficiency programme of the Energy Agency for Industry (EnAW). As hosts, we help finance the corresponding measures through an eco-levy with every change of linen.

Pradas Resort guests collected a total of 745 kilograms of PET in 2022. WOW! These bottles were recycled by PET-Recycling Switzerland and processed into high-quality PET recyclate. At the Pradas Resort we also separate cardboard, paper, cans, batteries, etc.

With a voluntary contribution of CHF 3 per night and flat, we enable you to enjoy climate-neutral, environmentally conscious and sustainable holidays at the Pradas Resort in Brigels.

If you arrive by public transport, you will receive a credit of CHF 15 per night. You can already select the corresponding reduction when booking.

We operate a central collection point for waste in the resort: resort guests can dispose of paper and cardboard, glass, pet, aluminum and cans, milk bottles and batteries separately.

In the second half of 2024 we will install 4 charging points at two charging stations in the Pradas Resort. In the future, you will be able to conveniently charge your electric car using a QR code.
