Sponti-Car - Car Sharing Brigels
The Pradas Resort in Brigels in Graubünden actively promotes travelling by public transport. Guests receive discounts on overnight stays when travelling by public transport. The Postbus stop is right in front of the resort's main building. Luggage can be conveniently delivered using the SBB ‘door-to-door’ service. On site, guests have the option of hiring an electric car to explore the surrounding area.
Families in particular appreciate travelling by train through the Rhine Gorge. The Surselva is beautiful, but some sights and leisure activities are difficult to visit without a car. The routes are often impractical, especially by public transport. Especially at off-peak times. This is exactly where the Sponti-Car solution comes in: sustainable mobility directly at the hotel, bookable via app.
This project is a pilot that is being realised and tested directly thanks to various partners. The key players are Marc Ritzmann from Sponti-Car, the manager of Pradas Resort Gérard Carigiet and regional developer Céline Meury from the Surselva.
The aim of this pilot project with Sponti-Car and the Pradas Resort in Brigels is to find out how and whether the offer is used by guests of the Pradas Resort. When does the need to book a car arise? What is the usage behaviour? These and other questions are to be answered during the pilot phase in order to decide whether the service is useful at the Pradas Resort and whether it should be extended to other locations in the Surselva.
