Aerelle® Blue bedding

We also focus on sustainability in the new superior and attic apartments - for example in the choice of our bedding, which sometimes uses recycled plastic from the world's oceans. The feeling of well-being will surprise you!

The Aerelle Blue fiber, which is contained as a filling material in pillows and blankets, is a recycled fiber that uses plastic as a raw material, which is purchased from the World Plastic Bank. It buys these from “plastic collectors” from countries that do not have a disposal system like in Europe or that are severely affected by global pollution of beaches and seas. The plastic collectors are paid fairly and socially. The bedding is all certified and has an EU eco-label.

Bamboo is also used in the cover of the cushions. This is grown in the growing countries without pesticides and herbicides. The fiber obtained from it has properties comparable to polymers. It is particularly smooth and very soft and therefore offers dirt particles and small pathogens a poor basis for adhesion. In order to further increase sleeping comfort, the bamboo yarn is blended with cotton, which has a sleeping climate-regulating effect. Cotton transports moisture/water vapor away well.
